Engine bogging fixed

So today I decided to look at what was the reason my engine was bogging down and sounded like only 5 of the 6 pistons were working. I've ran into these issues in the past but both have been 2 different scenarios. One time it was a fuel injector that had failed. The other time I swapped the spark plugs and that did the trick. Today, a spark plug was broken, the top of the plug came out with the plug boot!

They had about 7k on them. They were Bosch, so I picked up some NGK plugs installed them and problem solved. Now time to wash the bimmer :)

So I guess you got the broken plug out OK?

More of a question, does NGK make an iridium for the e36 yet...course I am asking primarily about my 1995 325i (produced 10/95) the extention cycle for BMW trying to not run into problems with OBDII Compliance?!?! Thanks if you know...and even if you don't.
I am currently running Bosch Plus 4 # 4417, but am hearing Bosch is not the best choice for BMWs??

Bosch plugs are fine if you get the standard version, but not the +4 plugs. These engines tend to respond badly to +4 plugs. And yes, NGK does make iridium plugs.

Thank you for the info...I'll se if I can find a spec for the iridiums...or go convetional N:thumbup:GKs
