Minus 12 Hour Compliance
So it's the middle of the night here in Munich... 12 hrs to delivery and cant seem to sleep, might be time zone changes, but more likely excitement ;)
Waiting for your update.......
Finally, the wait is over and I can now get some sleep... in my car!
(removed link here and reposted photos below)
I guess you were excited. You must've gotten to the Welt before they opened. It's still dark in the lounge!
Nice car. Where are you headed?
Those are really great pictures. Thank you for sharing.
Get some sleep. =)
Congrats, enjoy ur trip!
Post Return Compliance (More Pics)
Back stateside, and still acclimating to non-autobahn speeds (so oppressive).
Still offloading photos from the camera (have tons), but pieced together a few to post.
BTW: Thanks to this board for all the help throughout. First BMW / First ED... Start (planning/purchase) to finish (return) was only 6 weeks. Would not have been as memorable without the help!
Drive from Munich to Garmish
(playing hide and go seek with the car)
Black Forest This was truly a special day for driving
Red Light District (Not for the faint of heart)
Final Photo before Voyage back
Great pics... you a photographer? That picture in the black forest with the light gleaming though...
That morning in the black forest.... those photos barely capture what was like in person, but agree, a pretty special one. Thanks again!
The mountain top photos take your breath away. The photos with your car and the filtered light through the trees look like a BMW advertisement. Nice Job. Thanks for sharing!
Wow.... wow.... holy crap wow... love the car, the pics, all of it, good stuff brother, V/r, Tim.
P.S.- What kind of camera did you get (my wife is looking at the Nikon J1)?
Thanks! I've gotten the "advertisement" comment on that one particular photo about 5 times already.... maybe I should send it to them. You guys let me know if you see it on any billboards near you :D
Well worth the wait to see those gorgeous pictures. Looks like you took the trip of a lifetime. You hit all my favorite places - Trier is especially awesome in my book. Hope you sample the local wines. They are too sweet for most, but my family loves them almost as much as Bavarian beers.
Really nice pictures. Glad you had fun!
Thanks all... very memorable!
