Scraped the bottom front bumper of my Z4 on a curb
Good evening Gents,
Since the Z4 rides so low, I didn't notice a curb that rode up under my front bumper. Can the scrapes on the bottom of this plastic bumper be wet sanded out? If not, any other ideas out there you've tried?

If they are minor they could be wet sanded out as long as it doesn't go down through the paint. But chances are it is going to happen again and may not be worth the effort. I have some on mine from driving in and out of a driveway that goes up a hill and they are so severe I would have to take it to a body shop to be repaired. I have since done some work on the driveway so that it is much better, but unfortunately the damage has been done.

Oh well. I am sure the body shop will be VERY reasonable. I noticed you are in Colorado Springs. I used to live there a few years back. Do you take your Z4 out in the winter? How does it handle cold weather roads?

This will be my first winter with the Z4, but I did just put a full set of winter tires on it so I hope to be able to get around when needed. I have a couple of SUV's around just in case it gets too bad but still want to exercise the Z when i have the opportunity.
