Radio code Help
So Ive been doing a little Maintenance on my car at the same time my wife was help cleaning it out,i totally forgot that the radio locks up once u unplug the battery and my wife thru out the radio code that was written down on a piece of paper :\....So i called BMW they told me 50 bucks to take the radio out i said Aha but i already have the serial Number and they said Aha ill do it for 20 bucks i mean come on for a code? WTF Can some1 help me out with tunes plz....

Nobody beside the dealer has access to the database of radio security codes. That said, the people at the dealer you spoke with are a bunch of crooks. They're supposed to provide that information for free (but you have to visit in person, with proof of vehicle ownership).

Take a good look through your manuals, there should be a couple of cards there with your radio code (it will be a 5 digit #). If you have entered it incorectly 3 times you must leave the radio on for 1 hour then try again...

Assuming the PO kept the radio code cards in the manual, and didn't lose them.

He already said his wife tossed it. Try dialing other dealers, eventually one will give it out over the phone, I've done it plenty of times....
