New to forum advice on X5
 

Hello BMW enthusiast, I am new here and have always loved the BMW's having never owned one. We all know once you own a car your perception of that car can change. it would be nice to purchase a car and have it be even better than you can imagine, not always realistic I know.

So I am looking at getting a used x5, used because new is not in the budget for this car. Any years to stay away from? I have thought 2007 on up, also how comfortable are you guys with your cars that have 50k miles on the car? The engine no doubt will go for 200 but how about the rest of this fine vehicle.

Just stay away from the first year models. Good luck

I have a 2002 E53 (X5 4.4i) and have had it for 4 1/2 months now - got a good deal on it and am very impressed and happy with it
