iOS6 and BMW Connected / Office doesn't work
 

Those of you lucky ones who can read their full emails and text messages through the connected drive > office can offer some suggestions?

I have an iPhone 5 with iOS6 trying to make it work with my 2011 X3

I have selected office from the connected drive options and push is enabled from the iPhone too.

The last I knew, Office works with Blackberry only. I have the same year X3 and have tried getting my iPhone to work. I am running iOS6 now but no difference.

I have seen multiple treads where ppl got it to work

Are u sure it was with the iPhone??????

I also have an Iphone5 with IOS6. I have seen the threads in the F30 forum and tried all the settings/tricks mentioned there. None worked for me. No incoming email or txt messages show up in iDrive and I have the latest bluethooth software update installed.

it is listed on bmw's site as not working w/ the iphone 5. hopefully a future software update will fix things.

I get SMS and email (both as SMS) in Office when I have my iPhone 4S (ios 6.01) in the cradle, email notification set to badge and banners.I open up the email app to show all inboxes before I plug it in. Not perfect but it works for me.

I have the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 and text messages show up properly. It seems like emails aren't supposed to work, as they only show the first little bit anyway. I get so much crap in my inbox I wouldn't want my email showing up in the nav anyway.

Do not turn email notifications on until after you have started the car. Worked great for me today.

Can you clarify. Are you talking of "notifications" in iPhone? I looked there but didn't see how to turn on or off. Text messages do work for me and I'm using an iPhone 4 running IOS6. Any help with email would be appreciated.......thanks.
