Chrome wheel cleaner vs all purpose?
 

Hey guys,
I know I should be using sonax or p21s but I haven't gotten around to ordering yet. I picked up some Meg's chrome wheel cleaner the other day and used it a couple of mins before a wash. I didn't agitate and it worked really well at removing brake dust. Much better than all purpose. Thing is, I don't have chrome wheels. I have painted (I think). Is there any harm in using this product? Should I toss it and grab one of the othe products above? Thx

Chrome wheel cleaners can be acid based and will stain your painted or clear coated rims.

Cleaning chrome over any other metals is much different. If you want to use what you have, mix that with water one part cleaner to ten parts water. This will dilute it to the point that it will not harm your wheels
