Is this light out
 

Here is a pic of the front of my car. I have the running lights on but it's the same even if I have all the lights on. When the turn signal is on the entire yellow turn assembly lights up but when not on the turn assembly looks like this. Seems odd...

It's normal. I had to check a picture I had of my 04 and only the corner lights up until you turn on the indicator.

I would have thought the whole Assembly would light up. It would give it the eyebrow look....
I might see if i can make that happen, I think it would look better...
