BMW e46 325i 2001 won't start-resolved
Suddenly,few minutes after shutting off the engine,I tried to start it again but it doesn't,all what i've got is,abs and dsc lights on,and when turning key to launch position,I heard something like a 3 clicks,without cranking,finally it was the BATTERY,so I had to replace it,even after trying to use another one installed on mu friend's car,using wires,but it doesn't really work!(note I used that same friend's battery to replace mine to make it run)

Your post is unclear....did a new battery solve the problems, or not ?

In fact I didn't bought a new battery yet,but I had to replace mine with my friend's one and it works,then Putting back my battery going for a short trip in town and then it works again,but the fact is that when I tried to start my car connecting may battery to the other one using cables,it didn't work so I had to install that last directly on the car!
Thnx for interest,hope it's clear now. |

When a battery is at the end of it`s useful life, it will no longer take or hold a charge for very long. It can also kill the alternator, so replace yours ASAP. |
I've checked the battery voltage from the dashboard,it shows 12.3 when the car is off and 14.5 when it's on idle,on the dashboard (hidden OBD)
9.0-->123 9.1-->182014 9.2-->078-36 9.3-->0000 I'm still on my old battery |
