Is the power/memory seat standard with M Sport?
The BMW website seems kind of unclear. Under the description of the M Sport Line, it says "2-way manual headrests and driver-seat and mirror memory". But when you start building it, the power /memory seat shows up as a $950 option.
The Standard/Optional equipment pdf file also shows "2-way manual headrests and driver-seat and mirror memory" as standard for the M Sport line. So does the power/memory seat come standard with the M Sport or not? |
Power seats w/memory are not standard on the M-sport line. You get the sport seats with manual adjustments (better imho but not for some) and power side bolster adjusts
|
Thanks. So the website is wrong. Just like the website is wrong about the M-Sport having Alcantara upholstery as standard.

RE: things missing. I'll also let you know that there has been a fiasco of those who ordered the M line not getting paddle shifters. If you order an m line car, TRIPLE check that your dealer individually checks the paddle shifter box. Otherwise you might not get them.

I can testify - NO POWER SEATS AND NO PADDLE SHIFTERS on our M-Sport. We did get a nice reimbursement from BMW on the mis-advertising though

What kind of adjustment do you get with the standard manual seats?
The X1 I am ordering this spring will have paddle shifters. If it comes without, I won't accept delivery. But I'm sure I will hound the crap out of my sales guy over it. |
