Shifting noise

Hello All,

I have a 2004 530I (90,000 miles)and when shifting into 3rd gear, there is a "click" noise. It sounds like it's coming from just underneath the leather cover below the shift handle. . It shifts fine, with no force needed. It just makes this noise every time when shifting in 3rd gear only.

Any help is appreciated.
