Spark Plug Gap and Torque Specs????
 

Hello All,
Can anyone give me the spark plug gap and torque specs for a 2007 530xi. I'm installing some Denso Irridiums(sk20hr11)....

Pre-gaped to 0.044" and I don't think they require adjusting.

23ft-lbs dry (without anti seize).

What's the torgue with anti-seize? Otherwise, should I torgue a few pounds less/more when using such? BTW, I always check the gap of spark plugs for consistancy and accuracy.

RE anti-seize I don't use it as BMW and Bosch recommend you don't. When I changed the factory plugs at 82K miles they came out easily.

However, there are many that swear by the use of anti-seize and I wouldn't argue with them if it works well for them.

If you use anti-seize, apply it sparingly. I would back off to 20 lb-ft to avoid over-torqueing.
