Safelite

Does Anybody here have any experience with safelite, my insurance company want to send me to them, but i feel more comfortable going to the dealer.

You can look for my thread they all might not be the same but where i went sucked. If you do go with safelite make sure you tell you want the glass fromm ppg not the safelite brand. Dealer will be 1 grand for the windshield only but it will be ppg with the BMW logo. Some dealers hire the install from other companies some do installs.

No wind noise. I also went to the office to get it intalled just in case there were any issues.

Safelite is pretty good, just as was said above, make sure you get OEM glass from Plinkington or PPG, etc. You don't want aftermarket glass that's ****ty!

Make sure they lay a plastic cover over your dash because their is a chance you can get speckles of the black sealant on it. Then if it goes unnoticed, it can bake into the leather.
