winter set up - 135 M sport coupe
Gary
Recommendation for 17" package? Do you recommend staying with a RF tire? The options I see on your site is Blizzak LM25RFT or Perilli Sottozero. The parts guy at my dealer told me I would be really noticing a more significant change in handling, beyond moving to winter tires, if I opted to cheap out and do non-RF. Appreciate any information and recommendations:thumbup: |
For 17" setups on the 135i we normally recommend 17" wheels with 205/50R17.
Runflat tires tend to have stiffer sidewalls which result in faster steering response so they do tend to have a bit more responsive handling even in a winter tire. Between the Blizzak LM25 RFT and Pirelli Sottozero RFT, you'll get better snow and ice traction with the LM25rft versus slightly better dry grip and steering response with the Sottozero RFT. I typically only recommend the Sottozero RFT for areas with very light snow. Winter http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AB2&...nter/index.jsp |
Thanks Gary!
