Yep...me too. At first I thought it was nothing special, but I am starting to like it more and more. Especially the coupe version.

Is this alpine white or mineral white ?

It's Alpine White. I messed with the pics on my iPhone prior to uploading them and probably altered the colors.

Funny enough...I was parked next to a friend's new Audio R8 in white and mine looked like it had a silver/off white tint to it in comparison. Also, my neighbor made the same comment suggesting that it looked slightly silver or off white!!

Now I'm getting worried!! lol

The panel inside my engine compartment says AlpineWeiss! But it seems different than my last 535 that was alpine white....weird!

Mine is alpine white and I can tell you there is never mistaking it for white. I have seen 3 different alpine whites from
BMW- I,II, III. If you like it then who cares! Next time at dealer pull up next to another AW 6 and compare.

How do you like the drive?

I do like the white...it's definitely got a little different hint of something to it that makes it look slightly different than a standard white.

The drive is great! The overall feel of the car is very balanced. It's slightly longer than my 2012 535Xi and yet feels more agile.

The new N63TU Valvetronic engine is also incredible...very powerful and smooth.

So far I can't say I've come across any negative points to this vehicle....I've only had it for a week but I can't see any flaws thus far!

i like the off white hue the bmw's Alpine white and Mercedes Arctic white have in them. the audi whites are too plain like a toyota camry or any white you see on Cargo Vans . the off white hue on Bmw and Benz makes them stand out .
