Resids and MF on a 535?

Local dealer is advertising 535 w/ nav and prem for $499/39mos, looks too good to be true. I'd really like to do an Msport in either a 3 or a 5, but the #'s are pretty attractive. Does anyone have the residual and MF for 10k/36 or 39 mo lease?

Thanx,
Joel

(and no, I can't seem to make up my mind between a 328/335/535. . .:dunno:)

There is a full thread dedicated to residuals and holiday credits. Read through there and you will find it.

Also, whatever you get... make it a 35

Actually, I only found residuals for Oct, were they unchanged for Nov? A link would be helpful, thanx.

Here are the lease rates for the 535i. The residuals listed are for 24/30/36 months.

Sorry - I am a bit cranky this morning.

thanx guys, I appreciate the time, and no worries, I'm sure people ask these questions over and over, fwiw, I did try to use the search button, but the links got me even better info. F1, thanks again, thats exactly what I was looking for as well, is the $2k HC and $750 loyalty, with another $500 for drive app, correct?

Sounds right. Reach out to a sponsor in CA and you will get the best deal.

BTW, unless you need the space I'd recommend the 335. The 5 series is huge and depreciate like a brick.

HEy HEY HEY.... :mad: :rofl::rofl:

Its defintely a step up in luxury though... gotta drive them both. Also leasing there are really good offers, not sure how they compare to a 3 series.

jbailey895 11-17-2012 11:54 AM

I'm driving all three in an hr, 328/335/535, I don't really need the extra space, but anytime I see an Msport 5 I look twice to see if its a 3, both very sporting/aggressive looking. looks like about 6-8k more for a 535 over a 335, but they seem to be inflating the residuals on the 5 more to increase the lease value.

jbailey895 11-17-2012 11:55 AM

Oh yeah, the above residuals are for X drive, is the non-X any different? And is the 328 and 335 residuals the same?

Make sure you go in informed about what you should be charged for:

Invoice Price
Sales Price (compared to invoice price - should be about $500-700 over)
Acquisition Fee (no more than $725)
Money Factor Depending on credit but I believe 00125
Incentives

Good luck, and don't forget to report back and share what you learned with the community.

I think like 1% higher. I know the 535i 39 Month is 59% and I believe the 36 Month is 60% for 10K miles. If I find it i will post it.
Sorry that was Oct.

Here are the MY13 - HC amounts

jbailey895 11-17-2012 04:30 PM

Ok, ended up driving home in a 328 Msport, MSRP 48995. I offered $400 over invoice with buy rate and 725 acquisition. They wanted something crazy like 6k drive offs and $500 for 39 mos. He loaned it to me til tomorrow but I'm still leaning towards a 335,
Looks like he was trying to get me to pay tax on purchase price even on lease. Not in Ca, rt?

No, not in CA. Just on the payment. Did you try the 535?

You should use a lease calc and figure out what everything should be before you go back. Oh, and go with the 6, not a 4 banger...:thumbdwn:

jbailey895 11-17-2012 05:24 PM

Thanx, yeah the 328 is built just the way I'd do it, but the 335 is a blast that I'd probably regret not getting. Lease manager said 335 Msports haven't even arrived yet, but I'm doubtful of that. I haveta admit its still pretty damned peppy. Haveta sleep on the choices, but not sure dealer is going to reasonable on numbers.

miamiboyca 11-17-2012 05:39 PM

Remember that you are right down the road from several sponsors. Check to see what's on their lots too, and send them a note. These guys give so much info all the time, be a shame not to at least try and give them the business.

You didn't say, did you drive the 5, or is that out now?

jbailey895 11-17-2012 05:45 PM

True, Ive been on this board for years and appreciate the sponsors help. No, didn't drive the 5, I think the 3 will work and don't wanna spend more. Thanks for your assist, btw.

miamiboyca 11-17-2012 05:58 PM

Glad I could help. Let us know what happens.

Greg@Pacific BMW 11-17-2012 11:40 PM

Jbailey..... Before you buy a 328 or 535 you need to contact me... I am making killer deals this month... $400 invoice?. Hmmmm...contact me... Really contact me.

Varies by mileage. I believe 55% is 15k miles.
