Z3 Traction Control light
 

The traction control beacon lights up regardless of conditions I am drving in and remains on any time I am behind the wheel.
Any insight as to why it would and what I can do to shut it off?

Quite commonly, it's a faulty wheel speed sensor. If inspection doesn't show anything obvious, you might want to have the codes read.

you can try removing and cleaning the wheel sensors. They do attract "metal" over time and that can build up.

Also check/clean the connectors for each sensor.

Sounds like a speed sensor. Try cleaning it off, if that doesn't work it's time to replace it. I have the new sensors available HERE.
