About to order x1, question regarding holiday credit
 

I've worked out a deal for the X1, premium + lighting packages for $34500 + TTL


The dealer has a $500 credit if we get financing through them. Their current rate is 3.29. I see that PenFed has 1.49 on new car loans. So I was wondering if I can finance with the dealer to down a quick refinance right after? Is there any early payment penalty or time I need to hold the loan to qualify for the $500 credit?

There is no early payment penalty, but it is advisable to keep the loan for 6 months with BMWFS. I believe the dealer may lose the credit money that they pass on to you otherwise.

Don't forget BMW Ultimate Drive App Credit of $300 and Loyalty of $750 (both if you qualify). I believe the PenFed rate still comes out on top, but if you have multiple incentives from BWWFS then the difference between the two becomes much smaller.
