Performance Exhaust
 

HI, I,m New. My first question/comment is can you get any Exhaust Modifications for the 20d Diesel. Even if it,s only a simple chrome replacement of the back pipe. It,s oval shape makes it hard to put something over it. Might have to cut that little bit off first.

I doubt you can get any mods other than superficial. I tired for 5 years to find any decent mods for the X3 and finally gave up.

Talked to Steve Dinan directly and he said that there just wasn't any ROI for all the R & D needed.

Part of the reason I didnt get the new X3. The N55 engine is in several BMW and their are mods for all but the X3.

So cant see any appreciable things for the X1..sorry :(

Evlengr, Thanks, I totally understand. Will look at chrome exhaust tip, set of wheels & tyres and a compatable chip upgrade. Chip cost around $1200.00, they have to programe your exesting chip which improves KW from 130 to around 160 and NM from 350 to 430. Takes about 2 hours in their workshop.
