radio code help
can anyone help with my radio? I have the serial number from pulling the radio out, and now I need to find the code.

If its the original one you can take your VIN/paperwork to the dealer and they will give you the code. Some charge, some do it for free.

I don't quite get it, but I've bought several boneyard radios and in every case, I took the number on the back of the radio in to a dealer in Berkeley and they gave me the code. Handy for me, but it sort of negates any theft protection the code might have offered.

Just call a bmw dealer. Have done this multiple times. No charge, no paper work other then a sticky note with the number on it.
