Bluetooth Phone Sound Quality
I know back when I first bought the car, the early build cars were having an issue with the bluetooth voice quality. I seem to remember a bulletin about changing the microphones but I can't find anything on search.
Anyone remember this or have had the mics changed out? I'm trying to show the bulletin to my SA so that they can follow it since they are having trouble replicating the problem.
Found it, thanks guys. LOLZ.

Telephone (TCU): Landline Audio Quality
F07, F10 (5 Series) with option 639 (BMW Assist with Bluetooth) and without option 6VC (Combox controller)
During phone conversations using the vehicle's hands-free Bluetooth system, the person on the other end may complain that at times they cannot understand the person calling from the vehicle. Typically, this happens at speeds greater than 50 mph where there is significantly greater background noise (engine, road, wind, etc.) .
Vehicle microphone for the hands-free system.
Do not replace parts at this time. Please advise your customer that this is a known problem that will be corrected with an improved microphone, expected to be available in January 2011.
This Service Information will be updated as soon as the updated microphones are available.
This situation only affects vehicles that do not have the option 6VC (Combox controller).
I do have an audio quality issue, but only with one of my two phones. The iPhone is fine, but my Galaxy Nexus is scratchy and somewhat hard to hear. It got no better with the Android 4.1 update.
It's not so much a car issue as it is the phone, because my earpiece has a similar problem with the Galaxy. Perhaps 4.2 will fix that and enable MAP protocol finally.
