Oil Pipe Oulet Anyone done this this repair?
 

My oil pipe oulet hose is leaking. This is the hose the extends from the Oil Filter mount down to the Oil Pan. There seems to be a ton of stuff in the way. Has anyone done this replacement hose. Just looking for a procedure. Thanks!

I changed that in the past. You need to remove power steering, left engine mount bracket, jack the engine couple inches up. Change the O-rings (#7) here in the diagram http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...14&hg=11&fg=30, and you are done. Use a torque wrench when you are tightening the engine mount bracket back.http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...00&hg=22&fg=05
