E36 sound upgrade
 

Hi I'm new to the fest but have been looking around for a while now. I know not to expect any improvements from changing headunits or speakers really unless u change out the amp as its turned more for the factory units. I have the hardan kardan upgrade in my 328is and was wondering what all would u guys recommend. I want to go the whole 9 with new speakers sub(s) amp and maybe even a equalizer. I already have a Kenwood excelon headunit that I'm debating about putting in since I haven't done anything else to the system and I kinda enjoy having a 6 disk changer.

In order of importance given that your stock speakers are not dry rotted:

Head unit
Amplifier
Subwoofer
Speakers
