Engine stalling in 530D
 
Got a call from a friend yesterday. His 4 mth old BMW (done just about 7000 km) just stalled on the highway. What's more, the steering and wheels got locked, hence creating quite a jam ! I too am a new owner with a 520D. Can't quite imagine something like this happening ! Can anyone advise on why this could've happened and what should one do should it happen ...

I guess its not hard to say TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER. lol
