Adding OEM/other Nav unit???

Has anyone had an OEM Navigation unit or similar (popup) aftermarket Nav unit added to a X3 that didn't come with NAV?? I know it not cheap but considering this for my wife's 2008 X3. Thanks for any feedback.

You can find some information if you look around on Google

This is for an OEM retrofit

This is for the Garmin dealer installed option retrofit

With that being said, it is much easier to use the navigation on a smart phone and place the smart phone in the storage compartment on the top of the dashboard.

Here's an option.

The Dynavin is indeed the best looking option (I have it installed) and it is OEM in look BUT and a big BUT. The display is unreadable in bright sunshine. The Garmin option will not have this issue. So if you live in overcast weather year round then yes the Dynavin is OK but otherwise the Garmin where decent LCD display technology is used.

I also have the Dynavin unit installed. It looks great....hides away when not needed and does a good job. I don't think the other features it advertises (bluetooth and USB integration) work very well, but the Nav part of the unit works great. I don't have the glare issues that X3brian is mentioning above.
