F32 4 Series Coupe is the star at BMW Design Night

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiTYQ-Zp3AI

The BMW Concept 4 Series Coupe adds a new dimension to the qualities of the BMW 3 Series Coupe in terms of aesthetics, dynamics and elegance.
The "4" doesn't just mark the start of a new cycle, it represents the zenith of a development curve. BMW has given the new model its own individual character and a standalone design and, in so doing, has turned "4" into segment shorthand for aesthetic and dynamic appeal. The latest addition to a nomenclature that sees BMW building on the fine tradition of its large BMW 6 Series and BMW 8 Series Coupes, the "4" stands for greater sportiness, greater exclusivity and even clearer differentiation from the BMW 3 Series range.

I think that's the point. A cheaper version of the 6, along with a gran coupe version sure to follow.

Damn you BMW marketing...

Which is not a bad thing. I love the new six. What a huge improvement over the previous 6.

Nice car. But what the hell's with the basket woven cup holders? I mean who designed those, Longaberger Baskets?! That's just ridiculous. :thumbdwn:

That is a BMW individual feature. You probably could put your jock strap into it if you wanted.

Too many leftover basket weave sandals left over in Europe. They had to be recycled somehow

I actually just checked out the video now. I wonder whether all that weaved decoration trim on the seats will be felt (uncomfortably) by the seat occupants.
