This Valentine 1 Mirror Mount will not fit
 

Bought this Valentine 1 Mirror Mount on ebay assuming it would fit.

It will not. The short bolt install cannot be aligned properly up and down to allow the mirror to be positioned to see rearward. If set up catty corner, the lower ball fitting fouls on the mirror base.

Thought I would pass this info to anyone else who is thinking of purchasing this item.

Yeah, I am still trying to see how it could work.

I realized I had the visor mount, maybe will see how that goes tomorrow.

The visor mount is great, but I'm always afraid it won't give me the best detection. I always have my V1 stuck to my windshield right below my rearview mirror. That's why I wanted the Mirror Mount. :(

I bought this mount the 5/8 one and it works perfict with a few mods. Hard wired it in to the fuse box with a fuse jumper good to go.

Take off the plastic cover on the rear view mirror and trim off the part that covers the shaft and put two wrapps of rubber tape on the mirror shaft and everything is nice and thight and looks perfict.
