Idle Problem MAF?
 

I have a 1995 325i and I'm getting that up and down revving thing. It'll go from about 200 rpm up to 1500 rpm and will eventually die if I press on the gas too much. And when I press down, it really lags and is not strong at all.

Took a video of it so you can hear the noise and see what it does. Duct tape on the boot. There's a nice tear in it.

I just cleaned the MAF sensor and still nothin. I got the code 1215 which IS the MAF sensor.

So I'm about ready to buy a new sensor and a new boot. But before I drop 200 dollars, are there any other things I could check to see what the problem might be?
