Mine are more "regular":
1 - Screen off
2 - still blank
3 - home navigation (address starts with 3)
4 - still blank
5 - WTOP news radio (always '5' in all cars)
6 - Random function for HDD playback
7 - Oil level
8 - Manual FM tuning display

Haven't programmed a single one. LOL

Oh well, it is very easy, I change them all the time. :)

the way i figured it, everything except "vehicle info" is available via shortcuts near idrive controller.
and it is nearer to me than the 8 shortcut buttons for which i have to lean forward.

Hi i know this might sounds stupid, but i just got my F10 not too long ago and i thought the 1-8 buttons can only be set to radio stations. How do you guys set like wife's number and Home location to it? thanks in advance!

It's been a while since I set mine, but if I remember, just navigate to the screen you want to save, choose a button to use, then press and hold the button until it saves your screen position. BTW, if you just lightly touch a button (don't press it), the screen will show you what the button is assigned to. It's all in the manual.

My hotkeys gets erased periodically. Anyone know why?
