Already own an M3, figured I should upgrade...
...to another M3!
I've got a 2011 E92 in Mineral White with the 6MT, but living in England forces me to wash the car far too often. I'm also dissatisfied with the shift quality of the 6MT, so opportunity knocked and my dealer is giving me a good value for my trade, but will also help me sell it private party (if we can find a buyer) since I'm currently out of the country. It's a shame I couldn't quite afford an M5.
2013 M3 E92
Space Grey (should hide road grime much better than white)
Black Novillo Leather (have it, love it)
M-DCT (bye bye 6MT, hello F1-style paddles!!!!! Worth the price of admission IMO)
This is exactly the car I should have bought originally, because it's exactly what I want. Ah, live and learn... Should be built in February, delivered in March, and waiting for me when I get home in April. :D I've already got plans for a trip to the Nurburgring in July as well!
Flyinglow78, congrats! Live life with no regrets. If that means ordering the same vehicle but in your desired specifications, go for it.
I really like Space Grey on the M3. It shows-off the lines very well and is also understated. Are you getting the carbon or moon roof? I do like the contrast with the carbon.
Did you consider the Fox Red interior? Just curious.
This is hard to admit, but my resolve wavered a bit in the past few days. I'm in the military and everyone in my unit (and probably the DoD) received a letter from the SECDEF describing how the looming fiscal cliff is going to affect the military. Supposedly half of the budget cuts will be to military programs, and although he promised our end strength won't be affected, there's no real predictible way to know. I can't justify a major purchase like that right now. It's a shame, too, because pretty soon I'll lose access to the diplomatic pricing.
I decided I'm just going to stick with what I have (which is still an E92 M3!) and be thankful for that.
