Panic not working, from coding?
 

I was in the Disneyland Parking structure looking for my car, I forgot which row I was in - in the general section. So I hit the panic button thinking it'd go off and nothing. I found my car and just the AE and rear DRL xenon tubes were on, no panic.

I've tried holding it down, hitting it 2-5 times, no beeping, no honking, just silent lights.

Could this be something that was accidentally "disabled" while coding? Or is this something external that I could take into BMW without them messing with the coding?

I don't believe coding could disable the panic, what coding do you have done? Did your panic work before coding?

Honestly I never tried using it, I'll make an appt. for tomorrow and see what they say. If they pull the computer module or have to wipe it - that's going to be really annoying.

So I checked mine and it doesn't honk when I press the panic bottom, the lights just turn on so I don't know if BMW's have the panic horn or not. Maybe someone else can chime in and test it on their car.
