VANOS sealing compound

I will doing my VANOS O-ring seals repair/upgrade and have a question on what sealing compound to use. The service manual states that one should apply a thin coat of 3-bond 1209 or equivalent sealing compound to head face and VANOS unit surfaces. I am not familiar with 3-bond so I was wondering what folks have been using for this job. Thanks.

I used Permatex Ultra Copper, which is also used in the Beisan Systems procedure:

Thanks, I will be using Permatex Ultra Copper for the points identified for the valve cover gasket install. I was not sure if is also used for the VANOS metal gasket to head mating.

Basically you're looking for a high temperature sealant which also says sensor safe on the container.
