Tapping from behind.
 

Hey guys,

Today I will be tapping into the tape deck wires for an mp3. Do you know the wires to tap into for an 06/98 build with dsp? I've been looking for hours this morning and cant find my wiring.

This eliminates the Am/FM function am I correct? And you do not need a tape in to play the aux?

I've been reading both issues on previous posts and some say yes, some say no.

any help is appreciated

Soldered the points, works great, except this one issue the tape player is very noisy

I ran into another problem. Something in the tape player is making a noise every time the engine rotates, i took out a gear, it eliminated the noise but gives me tape error!

Check to make sure your tape isnt damaged

Honestly get Bluetooth. I have dice mediabridge pain in the ass I had to add a restart button because every now and then it just stops working and the only way is to turn it off and on. That said its really useful product
