Thanks, very interesting. My 19 x9" #298M wheels should arrive this week and I will provide similar data prior to mounting the snows.

Odd your fronts were Borbet DE but the rears Borbet USA(AL). Many BMW OEM wheels are sourced from BBS as BMW AG is an equity partner.

BMW Style #298M Wheel tech data

Below is the tech data for the 298M's that I added to my X5M for winter use.

Front Wheels P/N 36 116 785 503
Diameter: 19"
Width: 9"
Offset: 37mm
Center Bore: 74mm
Weight: 34.2#
Manufacturer: Ronal Czech Republic
Tire Size: 255/50R19 Pirelli Scorpion Winter non-runflat

Rear Wheels P/N 36 116 785 504
Diameter: 19"
Width: 9"
Offset: 18mm
Center Bore: 72.4mm
Weight: 33.4#
Manufacturer: Ronal Czech Republic
Tire Size: 255/50R19 Pirelli Scorpion Winter non-runflat

All-in this was almost $3,100. Expensive, but winter wheel options for the X5M~X6M are limited. The caliper/wheel clearance on the 19" front is less than 8mm.

Thanks for adding the 298M data. It's interesting to see the weight savings by dropping down to 19 inches.

Now all we need are some 299M data. Anyone out there?

P.S. I changed the title of the thread to better suit more wheel data.

Fixed, just for searching clarity for idiots like me trying to learn.
