2007 328i Maintenance Question

Just got a great deal on a 2007 328i and I'm loving it. It has 50k on it and I am wondering what I should do for maintenance if any since I am not sure what happened to it previously. Not sure when the last oil change was etc.....

Any advice would be awesome and thank you!

Google Mike Miller BMW

Google Mike Miller BMW
for the old school maintenance schedule use as a guideline.
you have to email him for it or you may be able to find it online.
Change out the lifetime fluids.
If you have a manual transmission use redline D6 for the transmission fluid it will smooth
things out.

As long as the CBS isn't going crazy with warnings, I would assume that it's been dealer serviced because it's more or less free.

I would see if you can get the service records from a dealer.

As with any used car with a few miles on it replace all fluids, especially the transmission. Exception are cars with much more than ~60K miles as flushing transmissions get increasingly risky if it were never done (dislodged sludge can trash the transmission). Run a does of technron through a tank or two of gas before changing the oil to ensure injectors etc get a cleaning.

My E93 had zero servicing in its first three years. It had only done 10K miles so was not worried but someone bought a $55K vehicle and never bothered servicing it even though the cost would have been zero.
