Z4M Roadster 06 - roof down latch issue

Hi
I have an issue with the convertible roof not latching fully when opened/lowered. I have to manually press on roof edge to latch.
Latch releases fine when roof closes/raises.
Anyone had this - and is there a fix?.

Repair instruction 51 16 235.... Removal of storage box trim panel - to access roof down latch.
