BMW emblem removal
 

Hey guys, anyone know how to remove an emblem from the trunk?

Search youtube. You will find videos. I can't look from work or I'd post some for you.

Lick the blue and white section 3 times, and then rub the "W" for 17.2 seconds and the emblem will spring off.








Or, take a flathead screwdriver, cover the tip with several layers of tape, and put a towel between the shaft of the screwdriver and the car and pry from the top and bottom of the emblem. Once it's up a bit, just pull straight out and it well come off.

ROFL thanks guys, I had my bimmer towed a while back and he some hoes aged to take the paint off the emblem, nothing else was damaged though

I am going to assume that should read "he some how managed" unless there are really hoes rubbing paint off BMW logos in your area? Autocorrect strikes again!

Some parts websites sell a little strip of metal that slides under the emblem. It makes it much easier to get the emblem off with out scratching the paint. It is like $3 so I would get it when you buy the emblem. Also do not forget the 2 grommets. I tried the screwdriver method and scratch my hood and trunk.

Hahahaha damn you auto correct !!!! And yah I did a screw driver, used a cloth, took a little work but it came off eventually ! Didn't leave one scratch ! Looks so much better, I was a little self conscious about people driving behind me
