Variable intake system Problems and misfiring
 

Hi all,

Problems with my e65 745i after putting it on the Launch pad the problems that keep coming back are bad 02 sensor heater on bank before cat, code 2715

rough idling on all cylinders, this does clear up after a reset but then comes back after around an hour, several misfires detected.

Variable intake system, plausibility and temperature warming threshold, code 2820 and 2821

Thermostat stuck code 279b

I need help guys......

i really need help guys..........

what ever controls timing for intake.... VANOS no? they go bad.... thats what i can think of... i mean if something literally broke in ther, your car would not run right, or at all... as far as misfires go...

thermostat does go out, thank the gods for it being stuck open and not closed... need to replace TS..


replace TS first.... maybe it is stuck half open or closed... other errors are temp related my first thing.....

have you checked running temp with OBD scanner...?

Nope havent checked the running temperature.....

car is running absolutely fine.... accelerates perfect and no other issues.....

I dont know what to do. Have ordered a new Thermostat unit so waiting for it....
