You're spoiling the kid, tx. Plus, it is dangerous to put a car with that much horsepower in a new drivers hands. You should start him off with something safe, like a Subaru Impreza base. All wheel drive, not too much power. You got to bring him along gradually.

apparently alot of people in midwest thrown out their old ones and alot of guys actually hunt for them and then refurb and sell or keep for their kids.... someone has literally a garage full...

I have three for mine..... 1 for speed, one for offraod, and one for style.. lol

Dont mean to HJ the thread:angel:, but since we brought up kids and cars... and corvettes in a bmw forum lol

We like speed and control. Couple years back I got a large slot car track. We now find ourselves tweaking the cars to gain speed over the other.

We have spent a huge amount of time at the track in our study.

My Daughter & I have the TCR TOTAL CONTROL RACING track with the
steering wheel so we have the option to change lanes at any time . We
actually have 2 sets to make the track bigger . It's been in storage since
we moved , I need to pull it out . there's even a jam car that goes around
you have to avoid .
