Un bypass heater core
In the process of hooking back up heater. Was wondering what hose's hook up to what pipe on the firewall?
You didn't take them off? So you don't know where they go..... look on realoem.com and study the diagrams of the heating and ac system. That's where the hose connection diagram will be.
Why would you want to do such a thing? No heat to defrost your windows.
Heater Connection
Inlet is the bottom one.
Outlet from heater is top one. Now I need to know the ID of the hose so I can remove the bypass thermometer and connect the hose back together using a connector. Just need to know what size connector to buy. |
have you determined why it was bypassed in the first place and fixed the problem? usually the pipes on the side of the heater box, but sometimes the heater matrix (like a small radiator) leaks. these cars are 25 years old now
The bypass was a recall fix to prevent heater core blow-out in an over pressure situation. I can live without it. I just need an easy way to accomplish it.
