Headlight Glass
 

The glass on my right side headlight is broken and i'm looking for a replacement but cant find it anywhere.

Does anybody know who might sell it? or even how to find the part number to look it up?

As of now, it seems like the only way for me to get a new one is to buy a whole headlight on ebay.

As far as I know, you cannot buy the plastic seperately, you need a new headlight housing. How did you break it?

Your best bet is eBay. You'll need to buy the whole housing. Bmw doesn't sell the glass individually.

You can also buy from auto parts recyclers, aka junkyards. http://www.car-part.com

I was in a small accident. Nothing happened except for the glass breaking.

I've found on eBay cheap headlights for about $250. I was just trying to avoid buying the whole thing, taking it apart and then replacing the glass on the other one.

Seems strange that they don't sell the plastic alone.

No you don't want to take it apart. You could move all the bulbs, electronics to the new one and install the new housing.

Anyways if you look for junkyard or refurbished, some have broken mounts so be sure to check.
