Hello everybody. Discovered eml sign on my dashboard and need to know the effect on d car

I have an EML light I've been trying to clear for a while, and it just got worse. My symptoms are RPMS will not go over 2200 revolutions, and my car will shutter/shake very harsh when the accelerator is pressed. I have an OBD-II code reader, and once I clear the codes my car will start back up fine and rev up fine, - for about a minute. Then the EML light goes and I have no power to move my car at all... If anyone has experience this, I'd appreciate any advice.
