200k Club

I know it's not alot compared to some of the other members but my baby finally reached 200,000mi today! I've put 74k mi in 3 years and still love her as much as when I first got her.

Jakobie1086 01-16-2013 04:40 PM

My 92 is a 279k. Granted I bought it at 268k but still running great.

jaguarx7 01-16-2013 06:40 PM

301,000 and I still get 30+ mpg highway (on non-ethanol fuel, of course).

Eight Thirty 01-16-2013 06:52 PM

132k
its been a long two years and 11k miles.

rooster1986 01-16-2013 06:56 PM

This is my first BMW after years of wanting one and I plan on keeping it untill it rusts into nothing. For those of you who have over 200k mi, have you only done basic maintenance or have you done a engine rebuild?

242k on the 318, 210k on the 325. No rebuild on either one, just regular maintenance. Lol only 74k on the 635!

EfiniMotorsport 01-16-2013 07:13 PM

I'm at 198k now but seem to have been stuck there for a while. Car doesn't get driven much in the winter except that I broke my DD. Damn cars get jealous of each other.

miles_trail 01-16-2013 07:39 PM

Mine didn't need a rebuild, just decided some elective surgery was in order to get a few extra horses in there.

Still only around 125k here.

EnserioJose 01-16-2013 08:05 PM

It'll be 4 years before i join this club. Currently at about 140k.

Jakobie1086 01-16-2013 08:22 PM

My 92 that's at 279k is on the original motor and trans, nothing rebuilt. First owner (To like 260k or something) DD it and got it served regularly at a BMW shop his son worked at. Shows you how long a BMW will last if serviced and treated with care.

I got my afterkarket gauges on and I feel better. Running temp 180-190 and oil pressure 50psi cold, 15psi warm. Just need to check compression.

Original engine + cooling system (I think it's on it way out pretty soon)

JackDuggan 01-17-2013 06:50 PM

I'm at 232,000, 1995 318ti, with the original clutch. Still in good shape and I've never used synthetic oils. I really love my M42.
