E30 back alignment
The rear toe in of my 19990 BMW 325 convertible is not in alignment and my mechanic says there is nothing they can do, car would need to go to a frameshop to change it. Are there any other options??? Anybody else experienced this???

rear toe in alignment E30
left toe -0.45 deg should be 0.18
right toe -1.29 deg should be 0.18
total toe -1.75 deg should be 0.37

That toe is high, but not really enough to warrent correcting in my opinion. It is likely to be caused by worn suspension bushings and/or excessive lowering.

If yu do want to fix it, your best bet would be to replace the suspension bushings which should bring it closer to spec, or if you dont want to take the gamble, search e30tech, there is a member there selling plates that can be welded onto the rear frame and use E39 M5 ecentric bolts that can be used to adjust the camber and toe.

car was never lowered and i had "new" (that is used) trailing arms (wishbone) installed as well as a new left axle. I guess I can have someone look at the bushings. Thanks!!!
