Although I was willing to accept my F10 without a dipstick, and trusted that the system would work, here is what I got when I tried to check my oil level today with the I-drive. Everything is greyed out and it doesn't look as though it's reading the oil level at all. Has anyone seen this, and if so, is there a way to clear it and restore the system without having to take it to the dealer? I just had the oil changed and it likely won't be done again for another 15,000 kms. Not a big deal but I just wish it would work as advertised...

2nd....get in touch with the dealer. the bar in my 5 series rides have always been green.

Agree with the 2 dudes above. Take it to your dealer so that you can have it sorted out. :D
