Facelift, nearside front wing

Hi there, does anyone know where I can get a nearside front wing for the E53 X5, 2004 4.4i Facelift?

Does anyone know where i can get it cheaper than main dealer (ie breakers or something) They seem to be hard to come by

Thanks

I have no idea what wing you're talking about.

International forum means that one must be cautious in their descriptions. For instance, "wing", "nearside", & "passenger side" can mean totally different things depending on country of origin and whether your X is LHD (left hand drive) or RHD (right hand drive).

HINT: left/right orientation better describes what side of the car you're referring to...or list an obvious component that absolutely defines "perspective".

The perspective of the driver sitting behind the steering wheel is the common method for determining the left & right side of the car. This helps with not confusing the right side of the car from being considered the "PASSENGER" side when a RHD owner is receiving information from a LHD owner. (see what I mean) :)

Another example...the use of "wing" can be misinterpreted since it is NOT an official BMW description of a car part...but is obviously a colloquial term used in the UK. Just recently someone used this term and my interpretation was that they were referring to the side view mirrors or doors since both sort of look like the "wings of a bird" when opened or as they sit to the side of the vehicle. But I was later informed that "wing" meant the "fenders" of the vehicle. So in this thread...using a non confusing component to give perspective could have been written like this...."the wing over or for the left front tyre...etc".

ha ha, yes sorry you are totally correct. I forgot that I am in an international forum.

Thanks for the heads up.! :)

I was wondering if there are any suppliers that can deliver to the UK. Someone did a hit and run and has now left me with a 700+ repair bill. BMW is charging 273 for the front wing and I was wondering if I can get any breaker parts cheaper. There is nothing in the UK for second hand parts, they are like gold dust

Thanks
