'06 325i Body Control Module
 

Good evening everyone,

It seems I have the dreaded body control module faulty on my car. At least this is what my mechanic told me. I've done a fair amount of searching regarding this issue and it seems as though other posts pertain to other models, specifically older 5-series'.

I've located several used units but have two questions:
1. Is it "plug-and-play?" Simply meaning can I buy a used one, plug it in, and have it work?
2. It's located behind the glove box, correct? At least it seems to be located here in other models.
