06 750, steering wheel shake haunts me

For two years I have been trying to track down this stupid steering wheel shake.

Things I have replaced...
Thrust arms
control arms
inner tie rods
outer tie rods
3 different sets of wheels (oem 19's, gray 128s, and now chrome 128s)
struts

I do not know what else to replace. The wheels I am currently using do not need hub rings.
For some reason the shop that originally put the wheels on that I have now put in some cases 13=15 ounces of weight on the wheels for them to balance... At that time the shake was limited to 40-55 or so..

Well this week after putting new wheel bearings on and letting the current shop put ALL BRAND new tires on again, they said that was way too much weight and got it to balance with about 3-5 ounces of weights, the shake is NOW WORSE

now it doesnt matter if I am doing 45 or 75... it still shakes slightly back and forth, and now I also feel it in my seat, which I didnt before...

He did say one wheel still took 8 or 9 ounces of weights in the front.
I have no other suspension parts to replace. I dont know what figure he torqued the wheels down to, but I am sick of driving this car with a steering wheel shake. Any one else have this problem with reproduction 128 wheels?

Do a search on here, this issue has been covered extensively. I'll tell you what it turned out to be (for me anyway).. balancing of the tires, find a place that has a roadforce balance machine, they will get it right! - http://www.gsp9700.com/ This machine will determine if the rims are bent or tires are out of round. Just because the tires are new doesn't mean they don't have defects. I had new tires and they was out of round.

Here are a few threads of the same issue:

On a bmw its either you need to road force balance the wheels(nothing else), or your thrust arms are bad. could also be a bent wheel, alot of rep wheels are slightly off even when new. my 1st set of 128's one of the fronts was off slightly in the face of the wheel.

I think someone awhile ago had same issue ended up doing what you did to no avail then replaced struts and everything was perfect.

He mentioned he did the struts already. I think its the least expensive thing to try. You could say I was lucky I didn't go thru a laundry list of parts.

Yeah I already replaced everything in the front end... I did however notice when it is cold I have zero shake. Odd...
