Hi does anyone have 149 style wheels with 295's or bigger fitted on the rear? Any issues, rubbing?
Thanks |

A picture of the wheel.

I have the stock tire setup. Just wanted to say that these wheels are the most difficult to clean.

Yes they are difficult to keep clean but I like them. There are 275/35/20's on the rear and I want to put 295/35/20's on and was wondering if any issues?
|
Wow those look great. Are those the alpine wheels?

I have those wheels, and I hate cleaning them lol. But I too would love to hear about 295's and rubbing
|
Ok well I have 295/25/22 lowered on Eibach springs and no rubs, even with bodies in the trunk.
|
Thank you for that information. I doubt that 295/35/20's will rub. Will soon find out and report back.
|
And the Beyern Multi's look awesome! I will try mine with bodies in the trunk also to see if I get any rubbing lol.

Not o hijack te thread but what is the biggest set of tires that I can throw on 22s? I just don't feel too good about the wifey rolling on such thin tires...
|
295/35/20 should be just fine man! It's about the same diameter as 295/25/22 and as the 295/30/21 that I run :D no problems whatsoever

The jump from 275's (27.6") to 295's (28.1") is 0.8" or 4/5" (close to an inch) larger in diameter... Will it be noticeable? Your speeedo will be a bit off a bit. |
I have 295/25ZR22 on the rears and the front I have 265/30ZR22 bro and no rubs
|
Quick question , you're thinking of adding 295/45/20 and keep the fronts at stock size 245/40/20 correct ?
|
295/35/20 at the rear (275/35/20 is stock on rear) and 245/40/20 at the front (stock).

I see speedo will be off by a little but exceptable , post up pictures :)
