As announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, BMW is expanding the 1 Series line-up with an exciting new Limited Edition, which will be available March 2013 in Dealerships around the country and will be offered as a Coupe and Convertible version.

  • New exclusive paint: Mineral White Metallic (Alternatives: Black Sapphire & Space Grey
  • Metallic)
  • Brown soft-top with silver-effects (Convertible only)
  • Exclusive Light-alloy 18" wheels double-spoke style 496

  • Black-chrome tailpipes (135i)
  • Chromeline Exterior
  • Exclusive Tobacco Leather with white contrast stitching
  • Sport steering wheel in Tobacco leather

  • Door sills - "BMW Limited Edition"
  • Floor mats with Tobacco lining

That's the thing that separate BMW from some other manufactures. They bring out the 320i for the US market, but won't let you forget that the 1 series still exists.

I think it's very telling that all of the responses to this have been negative. The BMW NA marketing department needs to pull their heads out of their a$$es and realize that they're starting to abandon the fan base that made them the company they are today.
We want a driver's car. Not "limited edition door sill trim" and run flat tires (which suck, BTW).

yea 25k would be nice but that would put them in the same class as Camry and accords which we know BMW doesn't want
